I am sorry to see people get upset so easily on this thread.
We are here to learn from each other and hopefully make
profitable investment decisions. At least that's what I hope
to accomplish. We need every one's input and expertise.

Jyoti,
Good opinion. No one can censor anyone else, but if someone
with the title of a professor attached posts a provocative opinions
people are bound to get provoked. I offer the following opinions of
Prof Sankar as examples:

From Message 3352927
come the Neo colinialism theory:
Actually, USA and other Western powers taught jingoism to the rest
of the world. After having acquired the nuclear power and wealth
(mostly through occupation of foreign lands), these powers want
the rest of world to kow tow them and remain perpetually emaciated
and dependent on them; now through neo-colonialism.

From Message 3324140
comes the Chinese communist international conspiracy to
subvert and takeover Indonesia.

Most wealthy people in the Indonesian Finance Community
(especially the ethnic Chinese) want Suharto to leave and are
speculating on Rp to topple him, IMO. I believe they will not
succeed because the US, Japan and Singapore have realized the
problem and want to help Indonesia with Suharto in command; not because they like Suharto, but because he is better than Communists taking over Indonesia. I would not be surprised if China is behind
the game of subversion. Whatever China could not achieve 30 years
ago has suddenly appeared easier to accomplish.
....
This is my own political analysis and is not intended to
offend anyone, especially my Chinese friends.

OK, I see some disclaimers buried in a lot of text, but these
are procative opinions and the natural course is provocative
responses. Though I do not think they need censoring, I do think
one should have the think skin to withstand the flames.

I personally read and enjoy the finance/economics opinions
of Prof. Sankar and wish he spent less time fraternizing (or
surfing the Web sites) of Lyndon Larouche and coming up with
conspiratorial thought-of-the-day ;-) <ggg>
