Candle Stick,

Recently I bought a book online from Amazon. I did it more for the thrill of doing it online in the privacy of my home own than anything else. I do have to admit it wasn't that much less than buying it at my local bookstore, about 5 cents less after shipping and handling fees, even with their 30% discount. The nice thing was I did it w/o having to leave my home.

What I didn't like about it was not being able to browse through the book like I normally would at the bookstore before buying it. If I had to send it back because I didn't like it or for any other reason other than Amazon's mistake, I would have lost $3.00 for shipping and handling.

After more and more people start going through the trouble of having to wrap a book back up in it's box, go down to the local post office, and pay a shipping and handling fee that they don't get back, they'll start having second thoughts about buying their next book online.
