Per my earlier link VoiceView was integrated into the modems themselves in 1995 and has actually lost out as old technology - or didn't you know that ?? Choke on this for a bit: (from Microsoft's Hardware Newsletter sent to developers in February 1997) "Update on VoiceView Technology and Windows-- Voiceview is not supported in Win NT 4.0 and is not planned for Windows 5.0. As stated in PC 97 Hardware Design Guide, Voiceview is obsolete technology that is not recommended for simultaneous voice/data (SVD) integration." techstocks.com I think dismissing that as not valid is, actually, valid.
