This hatred of fossil fuel companies is nothing new. It dates back to the EARLY 1970s in California at a minimum and probably carries over from the Standard Oil breakup in 1911 where we got Standard Oil of California as one of the 7 successor companies.

What is NEW is the LYING from the Biden butt-kissing flunkies about their part in making energy more expensive and driving US based oil companies to not take on huge risk to drill and develop any more than they need to do at a reasonable cost to keep the dividends coming.

I'm trying to "behave" and not correct so many idiots on the internet so I have less stress in my life but one nice, young, watersports, confused California gal who doesn't have much money and really struggles bragged about removing a "Biden Did That" sticker from a gasoline pump. She said Biden had nothing to do with the higher prices and commented she didn't feel guilty enough to buy her gasoline at a more expensive station to support the war, choosing to buy at the cheapest station in town. They've somehow been brainwashed into thinking paying more for gas and energy helps with the war effort rather than it helps Putin pay for it and what they really need to do is reduce demand... ie not drive or heat their homes.

To behave, I simply asked if she should tell Joe Biden to not waste his energy on something he can't control and posted this link

Today’s announcement reflects the President’s commitment to do everything in his power to bring down costs for the American people and continue our strong economic recovery.

Anyone who says the president is not PARTIALLY responsible for higher prices is lying or ignorant. Obviously, there is a lot more he can do and will not do, so he and his flunkies have to own that and be honest about it.
