John,:"what do I tell my children?". How about this:

Clinton is a wonderful President.
Microsoft is a great company.

I don't care if Clinton sleeps with the Stanford cheerleading squad as long as he keeps inflation low, unemployment low, a strong economic growth rate, and balances (or creates a surplus) in the budget. Personally I am far better off now than I was 6 years ago.

Same holds for Microsoft. As long as they continue to produce great products with more features at a cheaper price, then who is to care? Most consumers are on Microsoft's side in all of this.
