"you, and many others like you, seem to post a lot of headlines yourself(along with others),mainly Apple supportive stuff from Apple support threads. This glee club approach is not good judgement."

I tend to agree somewhat that some of the people on this thread can sometimes be a bit overly optimistic about Apple. But what do you expect them to do? Would whining about how horrible things are help to generate interest in the company? Do the people on the Gateway thread sit around and talk about how the company sucks and is going down the tubes? Would you blame them for putting out good news about the company?

You call them the crazy ones, the rebels, the dreamers, the mis-fits and the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes.

They're the ones who see things differently and they're not fond of rules. They have no respect for the status quo.

You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify and villify them. But the only thing you can't do is ignore them... because they change things.

They push the human race forward. And while some may say they are the crazy ones. We see genius.

Because the people who think they are crazy enough to change the world... are the ones who do.

You may say that Apple is on a downward spiral, that it's fighting a losing battle. Maybe those are the only battles worth fighting for...

Where are the Mac-Marines?

Glad to see that you are bearish on Wintel companies AST and Gateway. Although I see some hope for Gateway. PC Companies that are worst off than Apple AST, Packard Bell/NEC, Sony, Hitachi (Who?), to name a few. Making PC's right know is probably the hardest business to suceed in. Apple has the experience and the finanical backing to make it work. Apple new business model IMHO is right on. Thats why I have been putting my money where my mouth is.

BTW I use a piece of Sh** Wintel machine. I have never used a MAC. My only motitive is to find companies that have vision the right business model and good entry and exits points. Ever since Apple has bought NEXT computer and Steve Jobs has been putting his finger prints on everything I think this company is finally making good moves.

I still think there is alot of money to be made in Apple.
