Bill; The Mac Marines are in retreat. Jobs is fat and lazy. The 16 hour days I see as bad execution of a task. He should be making strategic decisions, instead he micromanages and further aggravates the troops. Let the people you choose deal with the small stuff. handle the strategies, of which I have seen no evidence yet.

tend to agree somewhat that some of the people on this thread can sometimes be a bit overly optimistic about Apple. But what do you expect them to do?

Go to the Corel thread for an example of what people can do. In the case of COSFF, demand the resignation of the CEO. For Apple, people here could discuss current Apple pricing policy and demand lower prices, for example. Or talk about the incredibly bearish fact that Apple doesn't have a permanent CEO yet and its string of failed deals (so far only MSFT has jumped in bed with Apple, and that was for a minimal amount -in M$ terms- of $150mill).

You could talk about all of these things and avoid being suckered into a stock that until recently had brought nothing but pain to long term investors....

But no, the glee club here talks about how great Mac's are and how loyal the users are. Passengers on the Titanic talking about the quality of the linen, so to speak....

Bill HooFatt:

I cannot resist this little bit of humor. "Onward Christian soldiers marching on to etc., etc. etc. with the cross of JOBS etc., etc., etc. Mind you, I wish and expect the best for Apple.
