Your are posting pure nonsense - there is no civil war in Ukraine - it's a war between Russia and Ukraine.

Well at least you have a good nature.

First this is NOT a civil war, it is an invasion of one country by another. Ukraine is an independent country with a Minority Russian population. That minority does not give Putin the right to invade it!!

And the entire western world agrees and most of the rest of the world.

And one cannot disregard the fact Putin has shut down ALL free speech and terrorizing his own people's freedom of speech by declaring anyone who calls it a way can go to prison for 15 years.

When they ask Russians about the war, one can see they are afraid to answer.

If Putin did nothing else that would be enough to show his ill intent. There is no free press left in Russia at all, Putin having run them out of the country.

And he jails and kills his political opponents.

And Putin just told his people: "we liberated Mariupol". No they didn't they totally destroyed it, razed it to the ground and slaughtered thousands.

Secondly Trump is not a pro. I spent 40 years in Alaska politics and helped four governors and countless legislators win election and ran for the state house myself.

Trump won by beating up liberals whom the Trump supporters hate. That is why he was elected to beat up liberals, and his supporters even forgive him cutting social programs they need.

What I don't get about you is this constant defense of Trump. He is a horrible person and compulsive liar.

That is so easy to see, the entire world sees it.

The Washington post I believe counted the number of lies he told during his four years at 35,000.

He is also a bully and says things like:" I am greedy and want to be greedy for you:. I don't want a president who is greedy. He also says things like how to trick people. And he threatens everyone, but the simple truth he is a an evil buffoon the entire world sees, but his supporters??

He hated NATO, and our allies, but loved the worlds dictators like Kim Jung Un, Putin, Erdogan and now his followers are cozying up to Hungry which is an autocratic nation and one of the least democratic members of NATO

So much evidence and you don't seem to connect the dots which is the foundation of good thinking. Seeing how things correlate, seeing causation, etc.

I just don't get it??
<,

There is little doubt that the Ukrainian people will fight to the last Ukrainian. It is inspirational to see people courageously defend thier convictions and way of life. Civil wars do happen, and unfortunately a difference in view occurred between the majority of Ukrainians and two regions in Eastern Ukraine. Mistakes were made, probably on both sides and disagreements deepened. There is nothing worse than a civil war within a country, and the very worst aspects of war come into play. It's like seeing two beautiful children get into a fight over a genuine difference, where both have a grievance, and not stop until they destroy each other. Some adults are better then others in quelling such a dispute. It's an art and a skill, and there is no hard set of rules that could be laid down to blindly followed to ensure success.

Trump has demonstrated his political skills. Politics is a murky and mucky business, and Trump is a professional who manages to make things happen his way, for good or bad. I would regard him as a loyal American all things considered. There are some excellent Democrat candidates out there. I know many here are passionately anti Trump, no bones about it, but if his opposition manages to at least bring some of those more able and capable candidates to the fore, I am sure the world will be a better place for it.

I appreciate your input to my enquiries and statements. There is much for me to study. Differences in interpretation and outlook is just part of human nature. One of them things.

I hope you, and the other thread contributers, have a good weekend and enjoy some leisure time. A rested sound mind is better in dealing the adversities of life. Thanks for the recommendations and links.
