What do you suggest? That can have a hope of working? Short of nuclear war, and knowing (1) Russia might not be bluffing, and see a genuine existential threat, and (2) Russia can survive an all out nuclear war. Call and raise. Simple situation. Forward path choice, I have not the slightest idea, because if I was in charge we would not be here at this decision point. So, guess what, that I remain agnostic because I admit I haven’t a clue. I do know and am sure Ukraine has been betrayed. Eom.

Attrition is good, its a step in the direction of turning weapons into ploughshares.
