If you do rent to farmers, make sure you get soil sample reports and copies of receipts and better, actual proof that fertilizer is going on your field.
I'm still trying to play catch-up because the guys haying these fields were lying about fertilizing each year before I took over. My potash is going to take years to recover. I have everything else about right after the last few years.

If your farmer friend has his own dryer, he's getting massacred this year on drying costs. However, it's still cheaper to do it yourself than to have the grain elevator charge you for it.

That was a great solution to those white elephant Harvestor silos he had!
