The Minsk agreements I, II, were never fully implemented and Vlad declared they "no longer existed" Feb 22, 2022 just before he launched an invasion of Ukraine.

If Russia cared so much about the agreements, they should have gone back to the negotiating table, as they did in 2015 and worked out the issues. Instead, Russia decided to throw them out completely and attack Ukraine in areas that were not even a part of the Minsk accords.

Of course, the areas they invaded just happened to be areas where petrochemicals, pipelines and shipping is the most valuable to steal. Just as they stole Crimea a few years before.
