I missed today's fun. We were traveling to California to look in on the house we are buying. They were just finishing up the drywall and beginning to spray stucco on the walls. I'm glad I raised the money at Christmas time and am not trying to liquidate now.

Congrats.... I think.

It has been on my watch list for a successful business to buy during a bear market AFTER it has had an IPO and a bear market decline over 50%.... it reached that but I may just stick to adding stocks I already own that have similar declines BUT I've taken profits... or be patient. Good thing about getting older is I don't have to be a hero and try to catch THE bottom... and get bloody fingers.

I have been trading a super micro biotech stock with an average price something like 75% below its IPO and about 90% lower than its peak where I last added... all in the last year. It is kind of fun to use it to teach my GF a bit of how to scale in and out of EXTREMELY volatile stocks.... I did a buy and a sell in the same day for a 50% gain... nailed the low by a penny and it took awhile to get filled.... The volume is TINY so I'm keeping the name to myself as I think it is also a very good LT buy hence the goal to have 10,000 shares on house money before it takes off. One can dream of travel with Elway & Kim Herjavec on BAjet.
