Is the Fed behind the curve?

CPI-U AT 8.5% AND THE FED FUNDS RATE IS ONLY 0.25% TO 0.50%.

I calculate the bond market expects inflation to average 2.88% over the next 10 years based on the difference between the 10-year T-Bond and TIPS rates. This is the highest expected inflation I have calculated going back to 2004.
