Jim, welcome back from Steamboat Springs. Glad to hear you didn't conduct any human limb-tree limb interface experiments. In the spirt of extending your post-vacation bliss, I will also ignore snide references to panicky posts by Surfer Mike and others last Thursday night while you were conducting high temperature-high alcohol immersion therapy. Trust me, had you been here for what shall henceforth be known as Black Thursday, aching muscles would have been the least of your concerns (with the possible exception of those in the sphincter area).
Since you're feeling so damned chipper, how about following up with a suggestion to end all this hostility with our friend from the Far North by extending him a Herring Branch, or whatever they call it up there. Specifically, take him on one of your powder expeditions and introduce him to the Extreme Sport of Tree Skiing? Tero, how about it--extend your battery life, experience the Rocky Mountain cedars, the SI thread will throw in a Q phone so you can stay in touch (dual mode of course since coverage is a wee bit spotty at 7,000 feet). Ready, mush! Mike Doyle
