It is not meant to replace the expensive ultrasound machines you see in the hospitals, if that is what you are asking. This is meant as something that your doctor/midwife/vet will use to better decide the need for more extensive diagnosis. They are not trying to turn medics and GPs into radiologists.

But ya, if medics start carrying these on the fields, whether in ambulances or on the battlefields, then the stock will shoot through the sky.

Then again, keep in mind that most start ups go belly up. Chances of corporate survival diminish exponentially the less below a decade they have been around. So the risks are as high as the rewards.
