Interest Rate update for Friday May 6, 2022.

Currently the Nasdaq and Russell 2000 small cap indexes are in bear markets (down over 20% from their highs) while the Dow and S&P 500 indexes are in major, double digit corrections off their highs. Meanwhile, The 10-year US Treasury bond has more than doubled this year to 3.12%

Hi Kirk,

Having a pile of cash after a big dip, is sure more fun than having a pile of margin.

Thank You for the excellent example you have been for me.

I have sold June, July, September, December and January 2023 KMI 15,16 and a few 17 puts. If assigned they'll all yield 7% plus.

I have also experimented with May XRX 15's and 16's and May INTC 42.50's. INTC is going back to 2017 prices when the dividend was only $1.10 vs today's $1.46.

Both out of favor stocks that still pay a fairly large dividend. May they go sideways for years. <smile>
