I've Followed Avi since the old Xon board on AOL in the 80's.. He's doesn't get pinned into his forecast. He is not afraid to admit he was wrong and change coarse. I guess that has served him well over the years.

David Tepper — forced sellers often equals bottoms. Yesterday, a huge number of forced bottoms. This sell-off began in November when we pulled out of the intangible and went for the tangible. The hedge-fund manager is now covering shorts in the Nasdaq, a buyer if the S&P falls to 3,600 to 3,500. The index dropped below the 4,000 level Monday, its lowest level in more than a year.
It would not surprise me if he starts buying sooner...

Looks like he's on the 50% and "reasonable PE with higher rates" retrace boat
