Agree! any number has the potential of being perceived as positive by the market. That is why I do not dare betting on th stock price. One thing that I noticed is that AOL's seems to be relatively straight forward in terms of tampering investor expectations. It looks like they have discovered that investors seem to appreciate their honesty and pump up the price along with the "honest" bad news. However, IMO stock prices should move on earnings [earnings expectations] and not because of other ridiculous reasons.
