Thanks for the clarification. I agree that blockchain technology will be great for record keeping and help make costs lower but the real winners might be in companies like IBM.

What is happening here reminds me a lot of 2001... that is the speculative companies have collapsed in the past 9 months while real estate has soared. That happened when the Nasdaq bubble started to collapse in 2000 as CEOs, insiders and highly paid employees cashed out options that still were above water to buy something of real value... even over priced real estate will save you from paying rent so it will pay for itself if held long enough.

Funny, after making that observation, I checked my IBM hourly chart and it seems to confirm that belief... everyone still hates it and yet it is near a 5-yr high and nearly a double off the 2020 low.



I still have some shares bought as low as $11 decades ago... in a taxable account that I've long taken enough profits out to pay for them many times over... but I probably should have turned dividend reinvesting back on for the past 5 yrs... we'll see.
