Perhaps that is your subject. My subject is "need".

The subject was in the post to which you responded. You used it as a segue, which denotes that you are proceeding on that subject. The subject was availability. If you wanted to change the subject, you should not have used that segue. And even worse, claim that the previous poster made a spurious correlation.

These are grown women (and men) acting like little kiddies.
As to your hobby horse, it's true that some get pregnant do so out of lack of responsibility. I would submit that most who get pregnant are irresponsible. Some of the irresponsible pursue a do-over. Having gotten the do-over, some learn their lesson and become more responsible. But others sadly do not.

Some of the irresponsible women produce babies. They don't have the wherewithal to raise children due to lack of interest or commitment or social or financial resources. But they produce babies anyway. Sometimes they and we get lucky and that turns out ok. Mostly not.

You are pitching the notion of taking the irresponsible women in bucket one and putting them with their irresponsible sisters into bucket two. Mostly because you want to punish them and shame them for their irresponsibility. So we all bear the double consequences of the irresponsibility in bucket two.

Somehow more of bucket two is better?

That makes no sense. But you can feel all righteous about it.
