Crude production for 2022 will be close to 12 Million per day. With "closed" pipelines and canceled leases. Now how is that happening??

I think the companies are reticent to even develop extant leases... not that I blame them.. this is a boom bust industry and I agree the tide of government is against them... so they have no incentive to incur cap ex even for those leases they have

The Greenies, the radical environmentalists are a distinct voting bloc in this country, like the evangelists and born again Christians. Biden went after this bloc during the campaign and kowtowed to them to make sure they voted for him and remained in his camp.

Politicians often take positions based on votes, not whether they genuinely believe in the principles involved.
