Demand rose faster than supply.

Nobody with a brain will risk capital to drill and extract oil paying super high wages needed to convince workers with brains and skills to leave other jobs to drill until the Biden/AOC energy plan puts them out of business...

Why switch from profitable, subsidized jobs in the city installing solar panels and upgrading transformers on power lines (what is limiting Palo Alto with a huge list of openings to hire workers to upgrade the homes they've mandated be 100% electric if they remodel... ) Work in the city or work on a dusty oil field...

Why take the risk?

IF Biden wants to REALLY get supply to rise faster than demand in the US, he can do price supports and vow to veto ANY bill that is placed before him calling for any higher taxes on the oil industry than they already pay which helped make a record for collections last month btw.

I'm not in favor of price supports because everyone will come out of the woodwork to take advantage but maybe legislation and a promise to not increase taxes if they do the investment might work.
Gas at around $4.50 per gallon.
Only in states that don't do their share to lower carbon.... You should be ashamed using coal and NG for the majority of your power given all the wind and sunshine you have there....

All democrats in FL should vow to turn off their AC in the summers to do their share to lower carbon emissions to try and match California. Otherwise, you're just smoke blowing hypocrites.
