I forgot to mention the draconian shut down in China and shipping. It's starting to improve. I'll look for the article. I will differ with you on the markets not working. It will take time. "Eventually" things come back to balance. TWT. Do you remember our discussion about needing two new refining facilities? Also, no one seems to be talking about how big the underground/cash economy is. I have small jobs that I physically cannot do because of age and health issues. A less than two hour job cost me $50 cash. I wonder how/if these people are counted in current employment numbers.

It's not just chips. Yesterday I wanted to buy a couple of chicken pot pies at a local convenience store. They said "We haven't had any for several weeks". The reason was that the lady who made them could not get the foil containers used to bake them in. Something so simple and cheap was putting this person out of work. I wonder how many cases there are like this that we never hear about.

Tesla explained in their earnings call that their engineers had re-designed some components to avoid unobtanium chips, allowing them to meet their production schedules. Other manufacturers just sat on thier hands and complained.
