I predict the opposite of refreshing.

This market is infected with a negative bias because of the unstable conditions of the general economy caused by an upside down government where the losers of the last election won and vice versa.

Why should the market go up at this time when you yourself have been expecting large economic indicators to be negative. I remember last December you spoke of large commonly familiar store chains going south due to this change in the economy. Has that started happening yet ?

At some point the stock market will look past this economic downturn but is that now ? I think it may be too soon to expect it now. The pain is being felt in every household yes, but is it enough already ?

And of course markets like to find bottoms in September/October, I have often wondered why ?

So if we get a refreshing spike on Monday, so be it. Then I think it will be followed by more bad news and the market will revert to its current bear bias.

Heck we haven't even gotten past the start of WWIII yet though that is just a button push away.
