Most do like to focus on prevention, but their patients don't care. You are the average of the 5-people you spend the most time with, and if they are all overweight or obese, you're going to think you're normal. Docs have just given up for the most part, as people do not listen and only want something like a pill that will make all of their health issues reverse without any change in lifestyle or diet.
