Jim, I really felt the loss of those people in the shuttle and also the blow to the shuttle program. That teacher Christi McCullock (sp) was on there too. I have a theory about Reagan being shot and what a terrible price the country paid for it. I don't think Reagan had the fight he started with after that and Tip O'neil wore him down and got him to agree to yearly increases in entitlements built into the budget instead of voting the increase every year which was a political football for both parties. The price we paid now is the national debt which was caused by entitlement programs ballooning out of control for the last 15 years because of those automatic increases. Now we are screwed and I don't think Reagan would have gone along with it if he had never been shot. So how's that for a theory? cya, Bob
