holly,
It is certainly an outrage that Earl Warren, one of Kennedy's political enemies was head of that commission. Also look at the fame some of the commission members have gone on to. Gerald Ford and Arlen Spector are just two that come to mind right away. Spector was an assistant DA (flunky) at the time but he is the one who concocted the magic bullet theory. The Warren report disregarded eye witness testimony in order to stick to the lone gunman theory. And why do you think Oswald was gunned down? Maybe because in a trial it could not be proven he had anything to do with the assasination? I have to admit I saw Stone's movie JFK. It raises a lot of legitimate questions. Bob

<<I'm something of a student of the JFK assassination. A few months ago, some of us got into a discussion on one of the threads here at SI. I was opining that JFK had so many enemies here and abroad that any number of gunmen could have been there, that day in Dallas, acting independently and without knowledge of one another. Two or more such gunmen do not a conspiracy make--quite the contrary. I also have a theory re the Warren Commission. >>

Holly, I am also a JFK assassination aficionado. My subject library is (for me) large and growing. I try to absorb whatever perceived truth I find in whatever theory, and let it sit, awaiting integration.

Would love to hear any of your ideas, either by private message or E-mail. I'll send my E-mail to you.

G. W.

You forget the huge multi-layered cover-up of the JFK and RFK assassations. No lone gunmen could have begun to do that in a million years. Some student you are. You forget the cover-up and killing of all the witnesses? The silencing and killing of Oswald himself?

Wake up. It was a major righwing conspiracy probably led by J. Edgar Hoover, the only man with the true means to pull it off in concert with other creepos.
