The hatred of nuclear power may be justified after the bad mistakes that were made at Three Mile Island and in Japan BUT.... Newsom in CA said he will delay closing our remaining nuk on the coast that supplies about 8% of CA's electricity. If I recall, when that facility was built, they blamed having the blueprints backwards for huge cost overruns and delays... The "real solution" is the Gates idea to vaccinate everyone so there is less global need to have large families and that will eventually (after we long gone) mean there are enough resources to share equally with everyone like some Star Trek movie... ignoring that some on those shows (usually well connected government officials including the military) live in palaces on the water while most others live in soaring apartments in the crowded cities...
