I can't comment on the new voter registration ruling in California. I know that in the past one had to pick a party in order to be eligible to vote in the primaries, and "none of the above" was not an option. <vbg>

In any event, I have no intention of changing my political party affiliation as currently shown on my voter registration, which, by the way, I believe would come as a big surprise to most on this thread. <another vbg> Well, nobody's perfect.

Besides, I tend to think that nowadays one party is about the same as another.
