Some do in fact see pain for Europe, although I don't know if it will qualify as a crisis. Michael Hudson has said that the was in the Ukraine, pushed by neocons for years, will actually be economic war on the EU which will force them into being more dependent on the US. At least until they wake up. This is about stopping Nordstream 2 and any other commerce with the Russians that would be mutually beneficial to both, but not for the US.
