Engine1 has an ESG bias. But Blackrock doesn't. Are you sure about that? Because it's certainly not how they are trying to characterize themselves: blackrock.com bloomberg.com And it's certainly not what many others would say either: cnbc.com Now, while I'm not naive enough to believe everything I read, and while I do agree these guys are all about the money, I'm also not naive enough to not recognize that appearances and political motivation/pressure/favors can play a big part in the overall business strategy and bottom line for these funds.
