With the exception of March, VLUE - MTUM as a long/short play has done wonders since start of November.

I agree with you that the bottom line is all that counts. However, I personally prefer to anticipate the market moves rather than wait for my stop loss to tell me which side of the bread my butter is on...that is mostly because sometimes the bread falls to the floor before I can bail out and it always falls with the butter side down <G>

I've been doing very well too. I shorted the market after Powell Spoke. Initially I got hurt and cut my losses, but by the close I changed my mind and went deep short. As of now I am 75% cash with the rest as market neutral.

I think SPX 6000 is a very real possibility. I have not modeled it completely yet, but I am, pretty confident of my previous bottom estimate of 3500. It that is the target, then we're likely to hit it during this earning season and bounce. If the earnings are revised down and the market falls, then Octoberish will be the low, perhaps in the 3300 range. If the earnings are revised down and we're above current levels by August, then SPX 4800 by the end of the year is a good possibility.

That is my current read of the market.

Could you elaborate on FUTU? I've been curious about it for a while. Is it a Chinese company and subject to delisting? Or is it based in Singapore? Why do you like it?
