Ron, I was not trying to imply that all lawyers are (expletive deleted), although I am glad that I am not one (some of my best friends are lawyers). What hits me wrong here is the implication in the "press releases" (read: advertisements) that the particular firms were trolling for clients: (paraphrased) 'If you want to be the lead plaintiff, come on by, and we will set you up.' That sounds really fishy to me as a layman, and like the firms are trying to create an opportunity for themselves out of some grumbling they had overheard.

(surely you can take a lawyer joke)
Lawyer's First Rule: "When the law is against you, argue the facts; when the facts are against you, argue the law; when both are against you, call the other lawyer names."
