We are talking about the same thing.

John (and I) spoke about making major, strategic political decisions based on petty, minor considerations, like being accused of another “russia russia russia”. That can be derisively called politicking. PollyTickling.

Major political issues must be based on the Constitution, on serious study and thinking, soul searching - and so on. It’s very serious business. People’s lives literally depend on it - up to and including the survival of nations and even the species. Almost too much power for folks. We better wake up and start paying attention to who we are electing.

Part of Trump's winning platform was ending the endless wars. I believe that would include proxy wars.
