I have been looking around but can't find the speech where XI clearly stated that he doesn't want China to displace the US as the global reserve currency. Here is another (to me) inflation / interest related puzzle: I am being bombarded with credit card balance transfer offers in spite of having no unpaid credit card balances. Most offer a 3% up front transfer fee with zero interest for 12 months. How does this fit into the current and anticipated inflation rate and interest increases?
