Read Replies (1) | Respond to So, a good week for the market (up 3.3% for the NASDAQ Composite), but a general loss for the bio-tech indices (-1.8% and -2.2%). The week’s big winner was AMBS, but it was driven by the news that its divestment of a subsidiary may result in a net -$42 million in potential liability. (At first the big winner appeared to be CLRB, but that was before accounting for the reverse 10 for 1 split. Unusually, it was in the black for the week, not the typical response of the market to these reverse splits. This was the third ten for one reverse split that CLRB has undergone, previous ones being in 2016 and 2018.) No big news behind the losers for the week.
