I read today that half of democrats want someone else to run besides Biden in 2024 AND Half of republicans want someone else besides Trump to run too. I guess I am in the "majority" as I don't want either of them but also don't want more right leaning Pence or far left leaning AOC/Harris/Warren/etc. either. So, my guess is we're f'ed and the market and record low sentiment are reflecting it.

That is the plan. Tear our nation down and rebuild it a Communist country ruled by Washington oligarchs. They will let us keep our modified constitution and even hold fake elections. They will allow the trappings of democracy and may even let us keep our flag. There would be a lot of blood shed over that one. They do not want that. They want us passive and willing to trade freedom for food and energy.
