It takes seconds to destroy any republican argument. They're not fiscal conservatives. They don't conserve anything. They throw us into recessions. They vote for criminals who need pardons, etc.

The media is owned by corporations and corporations want free money from the government. Republicans give them free money. It's hard to bite the hand that feeds them.

The dumbing down in the best part. Thousands of nuts marched on Washington so the VP would undo an election. They weren't angry at the people who lied to them (virtually the entire republican party and its media). They were angry at Pence because he told the truth. Now, that's control.

Most news is very moderate and not far left at all e.g. MSNBC, CNN, ABC, BBC, CBS, Politico, NYT, WAPO, etc.

Of course not. Consider the ownership. We've been saddled with the the librul medya crap since at least Spiro Agnew, who made "media" a singular term. That might be true in, say, North Korea, and unfortunately the terminology has penetrated as far as the NYT. Words have meaning, and people think of media as monolithic.
