It's the wealthy countries like the United States, UK, and Europe that created the problem. China and the other rapidly industrializing are just taking the climate destroying baton from us. Clean energy won't solve it because there is already too much heat in the oceans. The only fix is a time machine to change history and prevent the collapse of the human death rate in the 19th and 20th centuries. Or alternatively, create a collapse in the human birth rate in those centuries. Good luck with that.
