The only fix is a time machine to change history and prevent the collapse of the human death rate in the 19th and 20th centuries. Or alternatively, create a collapse in the human birth rate in those centuries.

I don't claim to have the answers. And I respect that over-population of humans as an economic driver AND a killer of the planet, too.

Let me ask you honestly, have you ever considered suicide to help in achieve your overarching objective? Why or why not?

The one-child policy in China was a failure.

War is a failure.

We try to prevent the spread and save lives in pandemics. As well as food safety. I am proud of this. The greatest invention of the last century was arguably vaccines. The overuse of technology like anti-biotics trades one set of problems in the short-term for a new set of long term problems.

The US is close to zero population growth, we need immigrants to keep our economy going. Or perhaps our desires for diffusing wealth to all citizens are the problem? Lower expectations? Go back to manual labor and less automation that consumes energy?

Over population is the elephant in the room. The solutions are ugly.

Oy.
