One of hundreds of news items, and fact rich articles, in recent decades, that look like <Organized Facism> to me Indeed. It does look like it’s getting there. There are numerous organizations, movements and interest groups that are highly organized and have fascistic, authoritarian features. They are against freedom - even if they claim the opposite. Many of them are militant - “if you’re not with us, you’re against us”. Id like to go back to the issue raised by Joachim. I think there is a paradox involved. We must have judges, police officers and other functionaries who simply follow rules and do their job. Life in a civilized society would be impossible without such people. And yet, there is always the danger that they may get away with Infringing on the individual rights of citizens. This must not be allowed to happen. One example is that we are not equal under the law. Members of the elites - and protected groups - can get away with much more. If this cannot be turned back, we don’t stand a chance. Ditto about the media and many other things. That’s what this thread was all about - ever since it was started.
