Greg, I believe you are wasting your time on trying to inform(educate) the candlestick! Great post by you. When the fear of loss is greatest the risk of loss is lowest!

Gregg,

I have been following this thread discussion for sometime and have traded some small option on QC along the way. I am thinking of doing my tax return myself this year(my first) and was wondering how would I go about report option transaction since the brokerage are not required to report that to IRS. Do I just treat it just like any securities? I know these questions are not appropriate for this thread but dare ask anyway since you are no doubt in handling other people money business. Some insights to the newcomer to the investment world is much appreciated.

Wow! You run 2.2 billion! I'm impressed....NOT! I am RETIRED after 13 years on the street, why bother with other peoples money when I have more than enough of my own to trade?......If I were your customer I would be concerned with the amount of time you waste in chat rooms....QCOM is headed for 30........but why argue?...I'm just a retired trader and this is my hobby.......I'll let the market tell me when to buy and when to sell....and QCOM is SCREAMING at me to SELL.......so which fund was that anyway that gave you 2.2 billion dollars?

QCOM down 1 3/8 today on big DOW up day and new highs being made....pretty weak, don't ya think?........Don't try to predict the long term future, there are too many unknown events you CANNOT account for........short term is easy money....job, job, job, and then job it some more.

And for those of you who don't know, almost all fund managers on the street are short term traders, ...they flip all day long.......;^)

Gregg,

we just concluded the first SI annual QCOM annual meeting luncheon. The group of 21 unanimously selected you as top poster of the month. The group also thanked Mr. Stick and Mr. Tero for providing the stimulant, resulting in some great rebuttals.

We all agreed the meeting went very well. Management did not evade any Korean questions. Irwin clearly stated that they were caught off guard, by referencing an economic conference he attended in HK last Sept where all the experts heed no warning of the Asia contagion.

Management has already regrouped and strategy forward looks sound. If the stock price continues to drop, it should indeed be one last opportunity to buy a fine company at a discount.

By the way, I think your posts are too long also. Why can't you just summarize into something like - "...dah, me think stock good, buy". (only kidding)
