Sorry Don, my bad...not directed at you. Just a general comment. I do plenty of shorting myself. Mostly busted names cuz I don't have the guts to short the highflyers either.

In fact, I think that what's been going on with AOL is really bad news for YHOO, XCIT and LCOS. Even though the search engines (ahem...I mean "global internet media companies") were up a bit today, I'm wondering if people are going to take this opportunity to re-evaluate their business models. I agree with your assesment that AOL can now be considered a relative bargain.

How's this for a gamble...if the market heads higher - sell AOL puts and buy YHOO and LCOS puts (I'm leaving out XCIT simply because of their relationship with AOL).
