Matt and Candlestick,

While there is an obvious parallel to CYMI, ASND, BAY (all stocks I own) and others, it does not necessarily hold that QCOM will fall to the 20s. One thing that all these stocks plus ORCL, GTW, and others have in common is that they fell until management acknowledged the earnings shortfall, either in a pre-announcement or in a earnings release. CYMI, ASND, ALTR, ORCL, and GTW have all rallied strongly since their earnings shortfalls. CYMI went up immediately while the others went down a few more points over the ensuing few weeks.

My guess is that in the absence of more bad news, QCOM will float downwards for a couple more weeks to around 40-42 (all bets are off if the Asian flu gets worse). It will probably base there until there are more signs positive or negative.

Richard
