I thought about making such a stable coin 4 or 5 years ago. I worked on its protocols and different issues. But I didn't have enough funding to pull it off. Plus I didn't want to be dragged in front of the congress like Zuckerberg.

One of the issues is the futures roll. So you'll either have to become a comex or cover the expenses out of the transaction fees. An alternative is to restrict the index to the currencies. This reduces the expenses and removes the problem with the roll. But it will not be as strong of a currency.

yeah I thought right away about BC... NOT crypto.. As to the interesting video Sun posted .. that was my issue with gold.. it can be gamed EXCEPT to a gold bug.. and is not really a different solution than the current USD.. Good thoughts thx
