A widely circulated statistic is that 90 million apartments in China are vacant. And many of the buildings have been vacant for many years without any maintenance, so they have deteriorted significantly and are falling down. So there is some substance to the story.

I saw these same videos years ago on TV, maybe 60 Minutes (which I no longer watch). The CCP over built. They should have hired American Companies to do the demolitions. We Americans are better at destroying stuff, but the CCP is just as good as the US Government at wasting money...
