My ire is at the president for begging the Saudi's to increase production only to be laughed at, fist bumped and ignored.

We should be responsible for oil we use and not rely on the ME.

I didn't suggest he go to Texas or other red states to ask them because they don't want to help him.

BUT he could ask Newsom to pump more and allow fracking, but some here think Newsom is going to run against him in 2024.

Isn't that because you still get a large percentage of power from coal?
My electric bill is well within reason
Nice thing about Florida is you can burn all the coal you want and the soot goes towards Europe.

Major population centers in CA are in valley's where soot from coal would choke us so we eliminated it a long time ago. I believe we still get a few incremental electrons from coal via imports when we can't meet our own demand.
