Yes, this is one of the reasons we should elect people of character to high office. A man's personal behavior is indeed none of our business, but when it interferes, for whatever reason, and appropriately or not, with his primary and awesome responsibilities, it is his duty to resign. A person of character would do so. But President Clinton (and his wife) have spent a lifetime of arduous labor (and apparently lots of dirty political deals) to arrive at this highest level of power in the world. They will not abandon this intoxicating summit without a savage fight. We should all concerned about the real dangers facing our country in the dangerous times ahead.
