You don't know how British elections work.
Neither do I.

When electing a New Conservative Party leader after the resignation of a sitting Conservative Party Prime Minister, there is a two part process :-

1) The Conservative Party Members of Parliament keep voting to choose those Conservative Members of Parliament who have put their names forward to be Leader until such time as there are only TWO left.

2) Those two then hold 3(?) public debates between themselves. After those debates it is then the members of the Conservative Party who cast their votes to choose which of the two wins and becomes Leader of the Party and who then becomes the Next Prime Minister.

Boris Johnson and Liz Truss will now, together, go and see the Queen who will then state that her government now has a New Prime Minister, i.e. Liz Truss, and "Buffoon" Johnson departs the scene.
