If this is the reaction to good news, I'd hate to see what would happen with bad news.

I don't have a problem with your post, BOb. I'm not going to personally attack you just because you might have something negative to say about a stock. Unlike others, I can differentiate what is and is not a personal attack on me.

Here's a question: if the street doesn't get it, what do they not get? And why are there at least 3 buy recs on lgnd? Something is holding this company back and I don't think anyone here really understands what it is. BTW, I hate poodles.

We continue to wait......

Bob, When I began posting on LGND in 1992, most Biotech investors didn't understand the sector in general and LGND in particular. Not much has changed (although LGND is now considerably more complicated and much closer to profitability). I started Links to Ligand just over a month ago. Today, one of the pages, home.att.net registered its 10,000th hit (and that particular page has been up less than three weeks). Overall, there have been almost 20,000 hits. No one is forcing anyone to visit, but investors want more info and many visit on a very regular basis.

I think that LGND will make a significant move soon. The movement of the past few days has been impressive, but I expect much more in the near term and I expect the regular oscillating pattern to be history some time this year.
